![]() I want to at least be noted as the person who owns the physical copy, but I'm willing to give as much as I can in order to get this mystery solved. That's because I haven't put the files themselves online yet, in case someone stumbles on them before I get to finish cracking as much as I can, and they get the credit instead. ![]() Now, notice that I haven't given the link to a download. The best I could do in terms of access is rip the files from the disc, and run the rip of it on a PS2 Emulator, which had a video recorder, but my computer sucks at allowing audio recordings (I have old tech), so the only footage I could manage had to have stand-in audio.Īnyway, all I know about the files really is that these are formats I barely understand: So, I started trying to learn how to hack it. But, I see that there's possibly a similar disc, that one from EU, but I got to thinking: "What if my disc has the same, or maybe even some regional differences that isn't seen here?" I'm a long time web lurker at this point, especially here (I love the rom hacks, and I tend to look around here for additional info), and I see that your "Sonic Riders" page has an impressive collection of scans and special info. So, in context, I had no idea that I could actually access stuff on the disc through the computer, and so I just kept the disc out of curiosity.įast forward to about 2013. ![]() I was 15 when I got it, and I was relatively new to the wonders of the web beyond just installing a game and playing Neopets. I would like to note that I do not own a PS2 (long story short: we had one once, and my cousin lost it somehow, and we never replaced it out of annoyance), and so this disc remained more or less a complete mystery to me for the better part of 7 years.
